Effie Eldora Ewert died Nov. 30, 1999, at Windom; she was born Dec. 31, 1901, in Correctionville, Iowa, to Carl and Ida Mae (Sellman) Nelson; married Abram P. Ewert in 1961 in St. Paul; he died in 1969; also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters, Oliver, Henry, George and Oscar Nelson; Annie, Jennie, Lola, Molly and Nellie; survived by her step children, Perry (Carol) Ewert of Jeffers; Sidney (Marcella) Ewert of Mt. Lake; Arden (Helen) Ewert of Sebeka; Mary (Willard) Breitbarth of Truman; Bob (Irene) Ewert of Lamberton; and Betty (Lenny) Boulton of Marshall; 16 step grandchildren; 29 step great-grandchildren; and two step great-great-grandchildren; burial in the Mt. Harry Fast was born June 18, 1926, to Jacob and Anna (Wieler) Fast in Mt. Lake; he died July 12, 1999, at his home in Mountain Lake; in 1947, Harry married Alice Stoesz at Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Mt. Lake; preceded in death by one son, Randy; survivors include his wife, Alice of Mt. Lake; four sons, Ken (Jean) Fast, Dale (Marcia) Fast, Eugene (Sheli) Fast, all of Windom and Myron (Dawn) Fast of Mt. Lake; a daughter, Diane (John) Crawford of Hendersonville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers, his twin Harold (Elfrieda) Fast of Alexandria, and Alvin �Bud� (Velma) Fast of Bingham Lake; burial at Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, rural Mt.
