Douglas Lorig � While a resident of Windom, Father Lorig was a caseworker for the Cottonwood County Welfare Department. He is currently serving the Episcopal Church in Brainerd, Minnesota.

Leonard Claxton � Father Claxton was the Depot Agent in Mt. Lake. He and his wife Shirley have 4 children. He is currently Vicar at St. Paul�s in Hamilton, Montana. He was ordained in Omaha in Sept. 1966.

Conrad Weiser � Father Weiser, brother of Helen Weiser, is retired and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. He is currently serving as one of two priests at Grace Church in Alexandria.


HISTORY AND INFORMATION PERTAINING TO OUR CHURCH BUILDING AND GIFTS DONATED TO OUR CHURCH

As mentioned elsewhere in the History of our Church, the original building was begun in 1880 and completed in 1881.

There were many gifts given to the church throughout the years. A few of these gifts that are recorded are:

Memorial and Stained glass windows given in memory of the Collins and Gunn families. The four large windows were given by the Ladies Guild and presented on the Sunday after Easter in 1899.

In 1900, the vestibule was moved to the center of the front of the church and double doors installed instead of two corner doors. A furnace was added beneath the front of the church.

In 1901, a Chancel was added, and Bishop Gilbert and Bishop Whipple Memorial windows added. In 1902, the Bishop consecrated the new Chancel.

In 1938, the new basement was constructed and the sacristy was enlarged. In 1966, the Church of the Good Shepherd was redecorated.
