Lloyd Samuel was the sone [sic] of Henry and Elmira Pursel Whitenight. He married Sarah Ann Proust 12 July 1892. They were parents of; Vincent Ray, Ruth A., Berttin M., Laura L., Ethel and George.


The name on his death certificate (obtained from Ancestry.com, "Pennsylvania Death Certificates 1906-1966") is Lloyd Whitenight. Cause of death is hard to read; something like senile paresia. Place of death listed as Berwick, Columbia Co., PA. The death certificate shows his birth in 1871, but other sources say 1870. Find A Grave has a picture of his gravestone with 1870 as the birth year. Also, the death certificate shows a death date of 26 May 1944, but other sources have May 27.
