Samuel Depp York, 66 of Glasgow died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. He was a graduate of Glasgow High School and Murray State University and retired from farm management and Houchens Industries. He was a member, Deacon and devoted participant in the Tuesday Bible Study at First Christian Church.

He is survived by his daughter: Carolyn Boyd and husband Justin of Glasgow; two grandsons: Justin Posey and Nathan Boyd; one brother: Dr. Paul S. York Jr. and wife Margaret of Glasgow and two sisters: Martha Richardson and husband Buist of Nashville and Mary York Nunn and husband Winston of Glasgow.

Funeral services for Samuel Depp York will be at 11AM Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the First Christian Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2PM to 7PM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 9AM Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the church.
