Listed as Josephus in the Status Animarum. Spelling of Josip is based on passenger manifest for brother Ivan at Ellis Island. The Genealogy Center of Kastav and Liburnia gives his name as Josephus Aloysius Dukich-Banicich.

It looks like Josip (Joseph) came to the U.S. on the ship La Champagne, departing from Le Havre, France, and arriving at Ellis Island on 27 Jan 1903. A passenger named Josef Dukic is listed (http://www.ellisisland.org). The manifest said that he was going to join his brother Daniel in Trinidad, CO (I haven't found Daniel in the Ellis Island records). Age of 35 fits. Place of residence is listed as Katsna (maybe supposed to be Kastua = Kastav).
