Glasgow, MO, Weekly Times, 29 Apr 1858 (obtained from Find A Grave, listing for Samuel Grove):

Sudden Death.--Mr. Samuel Grove of Cambridge, died very suddenly, last Sunday. He was in usual health at dinner, ate hearty as usual, retired to his room, and some hours afterwards he was found on the floor, dead. His spectacles were on, and an open book laying on the floor, close to where he was found. He was some sixty years old—an old and highly esteemed citizen, and at the time of his death, was residing with his son, John H. Grove, Esq.

Note that the Sunday before 29 Apr 1858 was 25 Apr 1858, in agreement with other sources.
