Notes for Ira Lightfoot Wilson

Middle name is from an e-mail from Carolyn Yates. She said that Ira was married to Caroline Turrentine; Carolyn is descended from them. She said that after Caroline's death, Ira moved to Texas and worked as a wagon maker in Rusk, TX, and married again to a woman named Mariah. Later he moved back to Arkansas and married Elizabeth Gathright (I assume that Mariah must have died). Ira and Elizabeth had a son named Merrill and maybe another son. Ira came down with pneumonia and died 10 Jan 1888. His son in law (husband to Ira's daughter with Caroline Turrentine) also died 10 days later, 20 Jan 1888, from pneumonia. And then Merrill, 19 years old, was kicked in the head by a horse and died 30 Jan 1888. Ira's parents were John Wilson and Ann Kinney.
