BYNON--Larry Bynon, 53, a resident of Albuquerque for most of his life, died Friday. He is survived by his wife, Janette of Albuquerque; sons Leo John Bynon and wife, Cathie of Phoenixville, PA, Tom A. Bynon and wife, Cathy of Rio Rancho, NM, Ken L. Bynon of Albuquerque, and Phil R. Bynon of Syclerville, NJ; daughter, Clarissa J. Bynon of Albuquerque; grandsons, Randy and Danny Bynon, and Kenneth Lee; sisters, Marcilla Kennedy, Gwyn James, Auldeth Bynon, Kathy Bynon, Leonella Valdez, and husband, Richard, Anna Maria Chavez, and Eileen Chavez; brother Henry Bynon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Bynon was married for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was an automotive air conditioning and service mechanic in Albuquerque for 30 years and an instructor of automotive refrigeration for approximately 4 years at T.V.I. He was a very avid pollution control advocate for the Albuquerque area. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also an active member in the N.R.A. Services will be held Monday at 11:00 at San Felipe Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza Dr. NW with Father Luna officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE on Sunday from 7 pm to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Polycystic Kidney Research and Kidney Foundation, 530 Jefferson NE, 87108.
