Army Sgt. 1st Class Richard S. Gottfried "Fallen Heroes" of Operation Iraqi Freedom Army Sgt. 1st Class Richard S. Gottfried , Age: 42, of Lake Ozark, Missouri. Gottfried died in Tampa, Iraq, when struck by an improvised explosive device. Gottfried was assigned to the 1st Division Support Command, 1st Infantry Division, Kitzengen, Germany. Died on March 9, 2004. Remembering our Troops who are fighting for our Freedom Support our Troops! UNITED WE STAND!
