Smith was escorting heavy equipment transporters when his vehicle hit unexploded ordnance in Baghdad, Iraq. Smith was assigned to 1st Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died on May 26, 2003. Remembering our Troops who are fighting for our Freedom Support our Troops! UNITED WE STAND!
