The Redford
Township Historical and Genealogical Society General Membership Meetings are
held on the second Wednesday of the month, from September through June. The
Business meeting begins at 12:30pm, followed by a Program, and is held at the
Historic School No. 9 (It is actually a little red schoolhouse),
Historic
Schoolhouse No. 9 is maintained by the Historical Commission of the Charter
Township of Redford. The Commission graciously permits us to meet there and to
store our collection of genealogy material with their historical material. On most Wednesday (other than our meeting
days) the Commission opens the schoolhouse from 12:00pm until 3:00pm to allow
people to do genealogical or historical research.
General
Membership Meetings are open to the public and are free of charge.
All are
welcome to attend and share their interest in genealogy and history.
Open to
all ages and levels of genealogical experience.
