logo The Northville Genealogical Society was organized on 24 June 1987 and meets in downtown Northville. We meet at 1:15 for Genealogy Roundtable Discussions, followed by the General Meeting at 2:30 p.m.

Meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month (unless noted) in the Carlos Meeting Room of the Northville District Library (212 W. Cady Street, 248-349-3020). We warmly welcome visitors and prospective new members.

Note: Most obits may now be found online in the new digitized version of the Northville Record newspaper. If not found, it may be necessary to look them up in the microfilm. Please see directions below and contact us.

Names and death dates are listed for persons who are Northville residents or have Northville roots.
There are obituaries on file. You may request a scanned copy of an obit to be emailed for a $5.00 fee or a snail-mail copy with a self-addressed, stamped envelope for a $5.00 fee.

GENEALOGY HELP IN THE LIBRARY

Northville volunteers offer individual genealogy help in the Local History Room of the Northville District Library (lower level) from 1 - 3 pm on Monday afternoons and by appointment. June, July and August are appointment only.
