Obituary Funeral services for Edna Ruth Thate, age 83 of Burkett, were held Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 2:00 p. m. at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Stanislaw officiating under the direction of Walker Funeral Home. Mrs. Thate passed away December 14, 2003 at the Coleman County Medical Center in Coleman, Texas. She was born August 8, 1920 in Gorman, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Coleman County. Mrs. Thate is survived by two sons, Roger Thate of Burkett and Kenneth Thate of Burkett; and two grandchildren.
