Louisa Catherine Surber, daughter of William Meek Surber and Sarah Jane Nunn, was born  27 Mar 1867 in Smyth County, Virginia. She married in 1883 to Alvin Henry Richerdson who was born  11 Jul 1862 in Ashe County, North Carolina and died Smyth County, Virginia. She was also married to Larkin Ray in 1919, and Morris Delp in 1930.
