1934. He held Masonic offices in Brownwood,
State, and national. In 1952 he was elected
the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of
Texas and moved to Waco, Texas where he served
in this office until 1988. In 1965 he made
Department Commander of the South-Central
Department of the Grand Encampment Knight
Templar United States of America.
