Jimmy R. Hudson, age 73, of Bristol, VA, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Bristol, VA, a son of the late Ernest R. and Beulah Widner Hudson. He was retired from the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. Later, he served as a magistrate for the State of Virginia. He was also a member of East End Christian Church.

Survivors include: Wife of 51 years: Phyllis Osborne Hudson Sons: Tim Hudson and wife Rebecca, Mike Hudson and wife Sharon, Matt Hudson and wife Angel Five Grandchildren, Five Great-Grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 12-2PM on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Weaver Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow the visitation at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Roger O’Quinn officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Hale, Mike Hale, Don Austin, Phil Roe, Larry Osborne and Buddy Cave.
