 Samuel Everett Rouse, 86, Circleville, died Saturday, December 13, 1986, in Circleville, after he suffered a heart attack. Mr Rouse was born August 6, 1900 at Rose Hill, Lee County, Virginia. The second son of Emmett and Rebecca DeBusk Rouse.
He came to Kansas in 1908 and resided in Brown County until 1920 then lived in Jackson County Communities until his death. He was a farmer and worked for the Lk Railroad until 1929. He was a carpenter for Crummey Insulation Company until he retired in 1964.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Hobart Rouse, and two sisters, Binnie Rouse and Grace Rouse. Survivors include a brother, John Rouse El Dorado Springs, Missouri; a sister, Hazel Rouse, Holton; one nephew, one niece and forr great nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, December 16, 1986 at Mercer Funeral Home, Reverend Ron Ahigren officiated, Clyde and Claude Rieschich sang How Great Tour Art and Going Down the Valley accompanied by Mrs Ray Wright. Interment was in Circleville Cemetery.
