She was born 25 Jul 1875 in Collin County, Texas and died 31 Jan 1953 in Brown County, Texas. He is buried at Cross Cut Cemetery, Brown County, Texas and she is buried at Rock Church Cemetery, Brown County, Texas.

1 --Leonard C. Prater was born 22 May 1897 in Brown County, Texas and died 22 Jul 1992. On 15 Nov 1929 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama he married Lyda Langley daughter of John J. Langley and Annie Pearl Tucker. She was born 23 Feb 1903 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama and died 1984. They are both buried at Camp Hill Cemetery, Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

He attended school in Sweetwater, Nolan County, Capitola, Fisher County, Sweetwater High School and Sabinal, Uvalde County. He dropped out of high school in Brownwood due to health problems in 1915. After moving to Sabinal he continued his education. On 12 December 1927 he graduated from the Theological School of St. Lawrence University in Canton, St. Lawrence County, New York. He was ordained to the Universalist ministry by his friend, Rev. John Dudley Barker at the Texas Convention in Newcastle, Young County, Texas on 18 August 1929.
