Charles Rex Hounshell son of
Lane Carson Hounshell and Eva Lee Martin
was born 11 Apr 1917 in Lee County, Virginia and died 01 Jan 2008 in
Richmond County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Wayne Cox 11 Dec 1941
in Tazewell, Claiborne County, Tennessee. He is buried at Dale
Memorial Park, Midlothian, Chesterfield County, Virginia.

HOUNSHELL, Charles Rex, 90, of
Richmond, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
He is
survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Wayne Cox Hounshell; sons,
Carson Hudene and wife, Johanna of Borkum, Germany and Larry Randolph
of the home; one grandaughter; three grandsons; three great-grandsons;
two great -granddaughters; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law;
and a number of nieces and nephews
Mr. Hounshell was born on
April 11, 1917 in Rosehill, Virginia to the late Carson Lane Hounshell
and Eva Martin Hounshell. He was also preceded in death by his
sisters, Grace Parkey and Golden Gibbons; brother, White; and
grandson, Larry Charles Hounshell.
He was a member of Open
Bible Church, Dayton, Ohio, prior to moving to Richmond where he
attended Shilo Pentecostal Church. Mr. Hounshell was a member of the
CCs and was retired from Dayton Public School system.
A
gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 2,
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Blileys - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street
Rd., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3.
Interment Dale Memorial Park.
