He married Grace Thurman Watson daughter of William Benjamin Watson and Nancy Elizabeth Nannie Webb  who was born 09 Aug 1896 in Burkett, Coleman County, Texas and died Nov 1978 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas. They are both buried at Burkett Cemetery, Coleman County, Texas.
