Samuel Dickson DeBusk, son of Elijah DeBusk and Sarah Catherine Ball, was born 23 May 1879 in Brown County, Texas and died 04 Feb 1965 in Brown County, Texas. He married Frances Virginia Broocke, daughter of Rufus and Lydia Ann Broocke, on 23 Dec 1898 in Brown County, Texas. She was born 01 Jan 1881 and died 09 Feb 1965 in Coleman County, Texas. They are both buried in Burkett Cemetery, Coleman County, Texas. |
This picture was donated by Robert Dickson Koenig. He and his wife Sharon Ruth Henson are currently living in the house that was built in 1892 by William Andrew DeBusk and sold to Samuel Dickson DeBusk in 1912. Robert Dickson Koenig is the son of Cora Bell DeBusk and Alford John "Freddie" Koenig. Cora Bell DeBusk was the oldest child of Samuel Dickson DeBusk and Frances Virginia Broocke. |
