DeBusk
IDALOU - Nellie Beulah DeBusk of
Idalou departed
this life on Saturday, Sept. 11,
2004, in
Lubbock at the age of 82 years.
She was born
Aug. 5, 1922, in Brice, Texas, to
the late
Ernest and Mollie Holt Watson. She
married
Woodrow DeBusk on Dec. 24, 1938.
She moved
from Lubbock to Idalou in 1938.
She helped
Woodrow on the farm and was a homemaker.
She was a former room mother at
Idalou schools.
A member of First United Methodist
Church
and the Eastern Star, she taught
Sunday School
and loved playing bridge. She is
preceded
in death by two sons, Jerry Don
DeBusk on
June 17, 1957, and Rex Keith DeBusk
in 1952.
Those left to mourn her passing
include her
husband, Woodrow DeBusk of Idalou;
two sons,
Chris DeBusk of Lubbock and Dwayne
DeBusk
of Idalou; two daughters, Lynn Neff
of San
Angelo and Tondya Bownds of Idalou;
one sister,
Ola Mae Maxwell, 11 grandchildren;
and 13
great-grandchildren. Graveside service
will
be held Monday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m.
at Idalou
Cemetery with Ray Hill officiating.
Arrangements are under the personal
care
of White Funeral Home of Idalou.
Family will
receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday,
Sept.
12, at White Funeral Home in Idalou.
