Marilyn Helen DeBusk Daughter of John Jack DeBusk and Anna Belle Bewley was born 16 Jul 1929 in Soldier, Jackson County, Kansas and died 30 Oct 1999 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.  She married Calvin Warren Brenner son of Percy William Brenner and Florence Eva Bottom May 1947 in Hiawatha, Brown County, Kansas.  She is buried at Soldier Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.

ObituaryMarilyn Brenner

Marilyn H. Brenner, 70, Topeka, formerly of Soldier, died Saturday, October 30, 1999, at home.

She was born July 16, 1929, in Soldier, to John and Anna Bewley DeBusk, and graduated from Soldier High School in 1947.

Mrs. Brenner worked for the Kansas High Commission for 15 years and for the Kansas Highway Patrol for 25 years, a member of the United Methodist Church in Soldier and a former member of Kansas Republican Women.

She married Calvin Warren Brenner in Troy. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Rodney Brenner, Soldier; a daughter, Cindy Keeler, Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Marian Marcum, Placentia, California; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Survives were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial was in Soldier Cemetery.
