He was living in Soldier, Jackson
County, Kansas in 1939 from Samuel Jasper DeBusk's obituary. He served
in World War I from 1917 to 1918 in France. He worked 37 years as a
rural mail carrier out of Soldier, Kansas, retiring in 1958. He died
at the Topeka Hospital Saturday 20 September 1969 where he had been
transferred Friday from the Onaga Hospital. He had been admitted to
the Onaga Hospital Wednesday. He had an abdominal ailment. Buried in
Atchison Cemetery, Atchison County, Kansas. |
