Claude Elijah DeBusk, son of Elijah DeBusk
and Sarah Catherine Ball, was born 28 May
1888 in Brown County, Texas and died 18 Jul
1977 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas. He
is buried in Cross Cut Cemetery, Brown County,
Texas. He moved to El Paso wher he lived with
a Mexican woman and her children. He seem
to have unofficially adopted one of her son,
Tony. Claude ran a wagon yard and a saloon named White Horse Tavern.
Nothing is know about Tony except that he worked on the border with the government.
