She married Jack David Wilkinson 25 Sep 1946 in Memphis, Hall County, Texas. He was born 17 Mar 1919 in Wichita, Sedwick County, Kansas and died 18 Jun 1999 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas. Betty Jo Wilkinson, 83, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 3, 2013.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Betty was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Cross Plains to Louis and Mildred Debusk. She married Jack D. Wilkinson in 1946; he preceded her in death in 1999. Betty moved to Amarillo in 1982 from Dalhart. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church for 32 years.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tommy DeBusk.

Survivors include two sons, David Wilkinson of Amarillo and Steve Wilkinson and wife Lori of Dalhart; a sister, LaNelle Switzer and husband Kennith of Edmond, Okla.; five grandkids; and 14 great-grandkids.

Jack David Wilkinson, 80, of Amarillo, died Friday, June 18, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery
with the Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial
Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mr. Wilkinson was born in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Amarillo in 1980
from Dalhart. He retired as an engineer from Rock Island Railroad,
served with the Army from 1942 until 1944 and was a member of Pleasant
Valley Christian Church.

His son, Tommy Wilkinson, died in 1949.

He married Betty Jo DeBusk in 1946 at Memphis.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steven Wilkinson of Dalhart and
David Wilkinson of Bryan; two daughters, Darlene Campbell of Amarillo
and Jackie Tiner of Denton; four sisters, Marion Ewing and Eva Allee,
both of Amarillo, Alice Riley of Waller and Virginia Telfison of
Haverford, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude Hospital in Memphis,
Tenn.; or Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Amarillo.
