Died Tuesday 15 August 1989 in the Holton Hospital. She was a bookeeper at the Netawaka Bank and for Barry Coal Company. She also worked for Soldier Grade School Board for 6 years. She lived in the Soldier community since 1927 and formerly lived in Atchinson and Netawaka. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Atchison and attended the United Methodist Church in Soldier. Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, 18 August 1989 at the Mercer Funeral Home. The Reverend Bob Whitaker, Pastor of the Soldier Methodist Church, officiated. Buried 18 August 1989 at the Mt Vernon Cemetery, Atchison, Atchison County, Kansas
