Stella A. Miller, 94, of Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown, formerly of Lancaster, died of natural causes Thursday in Masonic Health Care, Elizabethtown.
Mrs. Miller was a secretary for the former D.A. Miller and Sons, Lancaster.
She lived at Masonic Homes since 1983.
Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris A. Wittell.
She was married to the late Daniel A. Miller.
Surviving are four grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel A. Jr.

Charlotte M. Thomas, 72, of 134 Lincoln Ave., died Saturday evening of natural causes at Beverly Manor, where she had lived for the past 16 months. A homemaker, she was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lettie Ann Weidle Lawrence. She was married to Robert L. Thomas for 27 years in August. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Fred O., married to Mary Antes, and Steven P., married to Brenda Barron Antes, both of Lancaster; four daughters, Jane M., married to William N. Greiner, Jr., Helen A., married to Robert Metzler, Susan L., married to Samuel A. Stoltzfus, and Kathy J., married to Norwood McTootle, all of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Banzhoff of Lancaster.

Catharine W. "Kit" Wolgemuth, 95, formerly of Florin, died of natural causes Sunday at Brethren Village, where she lived since 1980.
Mrs. Wolgemuth formerly worked for Mount Joy Box Factory.
She was a 75-year member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, Mount Joy.
Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Mattie Koser Wittle.
Her husband, Henry S. Wolgemuth, died in 1981.
Surviving are three brothers, John K., married to Dora Wittle of Lititz, Elmer K., married to Lillian Wittle of Elizabethtown, and Ralph K., married to Helen Wittle of Chadds Ford; and a sister, Elizabeth K. Goodling of Mount Joy.

Elizabeth E. Weidle, 89, of Rheems Nursing Center, Broad and Heisey streets, Rheems, died there Tuesday after a brief illness.
Mrs. Weidle was a packager at American Seed, Lancaster, for three years. Previously, she was a candy packager at the former Frantz Marshmallows, Lancaster. She retired in 1966. A former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, she enjoyed gardening and reading. She attended the former Lancaster Girls High School.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Rockey Miller and attended Lancaster Girls High School.
She was the wife of the late Charles Edward Weidle.
Surviving are a son, Michael C. of Bainbridge; and three step-grandchildren.

Elmer E. Weidel, eighty-three, Lancaster R6, died at his home at 2:45 p.m. Monday after a short illness. He was a son of the late John and Sarah Weidel, and was a life long resident of this county. He was a cork cutter by trade. There are no immediate survivors.

Mrs. Fanny Weidel died on Thursday night at her home, No. 17 Church street, after a long illness. She was in her seventy-sixth year, a Miss Kiehl before marriage and the widow of John Weidel, who was in the employ of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for many years, who died nine years ago. She was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church. Her children are B. F., Philadelphia; Mrs. William McLaughlin, C. Milton and J. Calvin Weidel. Her funeral will take place on Monday afternoon at two o'clock.

Mrs. Florence L. Weidel, sixty six, died Friday evening at her apartment, 42 W. King street. She was born in Landisville April 6, 1865, a daughter of the late Israel C. and Mary Musselman Landis.
An only daughter, Melba, wife of John C. Hammel, of this city, and one brother, David Bachman Landis, of this city survive.
Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the funeral parlors of Fred F. Groff, Inc., West Orange street, and at 2:30 o'clock in the Church of God, Landisville. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Harriet Wolf, widow of William weidle, died suddenly yesterday morning at 6:45 o'clock at her home 542 East Orange street, of acute indigestion, aged eighty-two years. She was born January 25, 1836, in Elizabeth township. Her parents were the late Jacob and Mary Shober Wolf. She has been a resident of Lancaster for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's M. E. church. One daughter survives, Mrs. Amelia Remsberg, of Middletown, Md., and one step daughter Mrs. Irene Rohrer, of Pinebrush; seven grandchildren and two brothers also survive. John S. Wolf, of Lancaster; Reuben F. Wolf, of Manor. Arrangements for the fueral have not been completed.
Funeral invitation: funeral to be held Wed. afternoon at the home, 542 East Orange street at 1:30, also at St. Paul's M. E. church. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery, Neffsville.

Harry K. Weidle, sixty-one, 812 Second street, died at his home at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, of complications. after an illness of five weeks. He was born June 6, 1872 and was a son of the late John V. and Sarah Kauffmen Weidle. He was a member of the Covenant United Brethren church and the Men's Bible class of the church.
He is survived by his wife, who was before marriage, Mary S. Hempfield and the following daughters: Mrs. Ira H. Miller, Lancaster; and Sara E., and Agnes M. Weidle, both at home. Six grandchildren and the following brothers also survive: Harvey K. Weidle, Landisville; John K. Weidle, East Petersburg and Scott Weidle, Philadelphia.
Funeral services will be held at the late home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the Centerville cemetery.

Harvey K. Weidle, seventy-five, Landisville, died at 1:05 a.m. yesterday at his home after an illness of eight months. He was born in East Petersburg a son of the late John B. and Sarah Kauffman Weidle. He was a member of the Salunga Church of the Brethren and the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School. He had been employed by the General Cigar Co. for 20 years until he became ill and prior to that time had been a cement contractor.
There survive his wife, Bara Miller Weidle, a daughter, Ruth E., wife of M.A. Stoltzfus, Talmadge; a brother, John K. Weidle, Lancaster R6; two grandchildren and his step-mother, Mrs. Keziah Weidle, at the Masonic Home.

Former Dept. Store Manager Dies Here
J. Calvin Weidel, 218 Dauphin St., for many years manager and buyer for the former Donovan Company department store, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at his home after a prolonged illness.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ridgeley Manuel IOOF Lodge of this city.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian Hart Weidel, and a number of neices and nephews. He was the last of his family.
Weidel- Entered into rest in this city on July 11, 1946; J. Calvin Weidel, of 218 Dauphin St. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, without further notice, from the late home on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. J. Milton Weidel, 84, of 62 W. Oregon Road, Lititz, died Saturday at the Masonic Homes in Elizabethtown, where he had lived since March.
He was the husband of Geraldine Stauffer Weidel.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry H. and Florence Poole Weidel.
Weidel was a laboratory technician with Armstrong World Industries Inc. for 40 years, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the first graduating class at Manheim Township High School in 1931.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where he served as financial secretary and church council member.
Weidel was a member of Lodge 43 of the Free and Accepted Masons, Lancaster Lodge of Perfection and the Consistory of Reading.
An avid pinochle player, he also enjoyed gardening. Earlier in life, he played on local basketball and baseball teams.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Margaret, wife of Richard L. Sprott of Potomac, Md., Shirley, wife of Dale Dombach of Lancaster, and Phyllis, wife of Amos Hostetter of Columbia; a son, Joseph M. Weidel, Jr. of Columbia; and eight grandchildren.

John Weidel
John Weidel died at his home in Wrightsville on Monday from a complication of disease, aged 76 years. He was a son of the late John and Sarah Vahn Weidel, of Lancaster, and for many years was employed as a blacksmith at the Wrightsville Hardware Company. For the past two years he was an invalid. Besides his wife, four sons, Harvey, Landisville; John and Harry, Lancaster; and Scott, Philadelphia, survive. Five brothers, Milton, Edward, Elmer, and Calvin, of Lancaster, and Abraham, of Sioux City, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Miller, of Marietta, also survive. Services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his home, 238 Walnut street, Wrightsville, with interment in the Mennonite cemetery, East Petersburg.

Judith Weidle, 54, of 108 Wickersham Road, Bainbridge, died of natural causes Monday at home.
Mrs. Weidle was a former flood control officer for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
She served in the U.S. Army's military intelligence department from 1865 to 1968 and was a specialist 5th class.
A 1965 graduate of West Geauga High School, Cleveland, Ohio, she attended Kent State University.
She grew up riding horses and trained as an Olympic hopeful until an accident ended her training.
Mrs. Weidle was a member of the military Workers and friends Association and The Vietnam Women's Memorial Committee.
Born in Dearborn, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Iva Culbertson.
She would have been married 13 years on Dec. 30 to Michael C. Wiedle.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert B. II, married to Lynelle Stutzman Trigalet of Lancaster; two daughters, Kerry C. Trigalet, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Jenny R. Trigalet of New Holland; and a brother Rollie Hedden of Chesterland.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Hedden.

Mrs. Mary S. Hempfield Weidle, widow of Harry K. Weidle, 647 E. Marion St., died at her home at 12:05 a.m. yesterday after a prolonged illness.
She was born in East Hempfield Twp., a daughter of the late Benjamin F., and Elizabeth Stibgen Hempfield, wand was a resident of this city most of her life. She was a member of Covenant Evangelical United Brethren Church and Ladies' Bible Class. SHe is survived by three daughters: Esther M., wife of Ira H. Miller, Lancaster; and the Misses Sarah E., and Agnes M., both at home; five grandchildren, one great grand daughter; and four sisters: Mrs. Sadie Bair and Anna S., wife of James G. Keemer, both of Lancaster; and the Misses Agnes B., and Elizabeth M. Hempfield, both of Harrisburg.

Born in East Petersburg, his parents were the late John V. and Sarah Kauffman Weidel. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Melba Hammel, Lancaster; and two brothers, Harvey, of Landisville; and John E., of East Petersburg.

She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Eugene Lehman, Martic Forge; Mrs. Lillie Roxroth, Camp Hill; Mrs. W.P. Oligher, Winnebago, Minn.; Mrs. Frank Broxtermann, Harrisburg.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.
