CYRUS S. SITES



Cyrus S. Sites. aged 89 years, died Saturday night at 11 o'clock at the Franklin County Home where he had been an inmate since December 17. 1939. Death was due to infirmities of age.

He was born at Rouzerville, the son of John and Mary Keefer Sites, and had lived his entire life with the exception of two years in Rouzerville and vicinity. He had resided for two years in Kansas. Mr. Sites was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the Eighty Year Club.

He had been in ill health for the was last year and critically ill for the last 10 days. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Rouzerville and is survived by his wife, who has been confined to the Waynesboro Hospital since December 16, and by the following children: Mrs. J. W. Cornwall. Mrs. Anthony Munzert, both of Baltimore, Mrs. Walter West of Rouzerville, John Sites of Waynesboro, Cyrus Jr., of Fountaindale, one sister, Mrs. John Ziegler of Rouzerville; 23 grand- children; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchlld.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning from the home of his daughter. Mrs. Walter West, Rouzerville, at 10 o'clock with services at the Church of the Brethren at Rouzerville at 10:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev. H. M. Stover and the Rev. C. M. Valentine.

The body may be viewed Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock at the West home.
