  FLAT ROCK — Mrs. Grace D. Law, 88, of 26085 Erie St. died Sunday in Seaway Hospital, Trenton. A school teacher and a lifelong resident of the Flat Rock area, she was an authority on the history of Flat Rock.

  Friends may call after 6:30 tonight in the Bobcean Funeral Home Inc. where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Clyde E. Smith, DD, of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park.

  The daughter of Wellington and Minnie (Scherer) Wagar, she was born July 24, 1891, in Flat Rock. She was married to Harold E. Law Nov. 29, 1924. He died Nov. 8, 1951.

  Mrs. Law was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She taught school in the Reading School in Flat Rock for 14 years and 4 years at Maple Grove School, now a part of Woodhaven Schools. She was a life member of Flat Rock Chapter 156, Order of Eastern Star; a member of the auxiliary to Mittlestate-Smith Post 337, American Legion, and a 25 year member of the American Red Cross.

  Surviving are a son Thomas W. of Flat Rock, two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle McBroom of Flat Rock, and Mrs. James (Anna) Richardson of Rockwood; three, grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild.
