Edward Law, 85, formerly of Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, died June 15 at 4 p.m. in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading.

  Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Milton and Grace (Loose) Law.

  Law was employed for 30 years as a clerk by the state Liquor Control Board, retiring in 1982.

  He was a graduate of West Reading High School and received his bachelor's degree from Albright College and a master's degree from Yale University, New Haven, Conn.

  Law was an Army veteran

  There are no immediate survivors.

  Services will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
