Rites On Wednesday



  Funeral services for Clifford E. Law, a former resident of Rock Falls who passed away early Monday morning at his home in River Grove, will be held Wedneday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Melvin Funeral Home. Rev. Ridell Kelsey, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park. The Masonic Lodge will conduct the graveside services. Friends may call at the Melvin Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

   The deceased resided at 501 9th Ave., Rock Falls, for many years. and was employed at the National Manufacturing Company for 21 years prior to moving to the Chicago area in 1943.

  He was born Jan. 31, 1899 in Hume Township, Whiteside County, the son of Richard and Henrietta Delp Law. On June 30, 1927 he was married to Sylvia J. Brown in the Rock Falls Methodist Church parsonage.

  He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and the Masonic lodge at Erie.

  His wife survives as does one son, Bertram E. Law, Elmhurst; one brother, Tracy Law, Madison, Wis., and three sisters, Mrs. Eldon Purcell, Mrs. Harold Hummell, and Miss Jeanette Law, all of Wisconsin. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Darrell E. Law and Dale Allen Law, Elmhurst.
