Mrs. Carrie Virginia Law
Mrs. Carrie Virginia Law, of Smithsburg, died at the Washington County Hospital at 9:30 p.m. Monday, after an Illness of two weeks, aged 78.
Born near Leitersburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Ann (Masters) Slick. She spent her entire life in the Smithsburg Community and was a member of the Cavetown Reformed Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. E. Pauline Law, Smithsburg Route 1; brother, Charles H. Slick and sister, Mrs. Daisy M. South, both of Smithsburg. Four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home, Smithsburg, 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Richard P. Fehnel. Interment will be in the Smithsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Smithsburg.
