Site Information:

Owned and operated by Charles Schwarz, this was the primo prom-date restaurant in Kalamazoo.  Chicken Charlie’s was well known for the best fried chicken in town!  The restaurant was replaced by a Damon’s rib house, and later razed to accommodate a strip mall.  The Schwarz family also owned several other restaurants in Kalamazoo, including two of the drive-in variety.
