This is a historical website
for Kalamazoo County.
This website will provide
historical information for all of Kalamazoo County, its townships, cities
and villages. We will provide documentation and photographs of
historical buildings, places and people who made Kalamazoo County what it is
today.
This site just began in June
2007, so we are in the process of evolving. Please check back and
watch our site grow.
It is our apology that we
have not made many improvements to our site this past winter. We have
been concentrating on backlog work for our cemetery site and have not had
resources to update this site. Hopefully soon we will begin
adding our some of our vast information to this site. I welcome any
local researchers to assist in gathering information
Prior to Dick's passing
he made a request that all his genealogical and historical
information be passed on to Scott. He did this knowing it
would be preserved for years to come. We are in possession
of his materials and will be going through it over the upcoming
months.
We are looking for old
photos, post cards, documents and anything related to the history of
Kalamazoo County, its people, businesses and history in general. If
you have anything you would like to donate (originals or scans) please
let us know. Please note, that we can not accept any images from other
sites. Anything posted has to be owned by you or myself; sorry but
it's the law.
This website serves as a resource for historical information
for Kalamazoo County. Visitors can use the information on this
site, print pages for their own reference but images are not allowed
