Research Services

Volunteers from our society are willing, for a fee, to research your inquiries. The monies derived from such research are used to enlarge the genealogical collection of the Frankenmuth Wickson District Library, promote genealogical education and to preserve the genealogical records of the Frankenmuth area.

Resources available for examination include: church records, cemetery records, family files, newspaper records, census records, military records, land records, vital records.

Unless you have one specific request, we must have a family group sheet on one family or a simple 4-generation pedigree chart. We do not wish to duplicate information that you have already collected, so please tell us what information you already have and what information you are looking for.

For the amount of $15.00 per hour (minimum of 1 hour, maximum of 3 hours per request) we will research a family unit. This includes supplies, up to 5 photocopies per hour searched, and postage in the U.S. Mail your request and check or money order to:
