| MISSION STATEMENT: |

MEETINGS: The society meets
at 9:30 A.M. every second Wednesday of the month with the exception to
the months of July and August. The December meeting is usually a morning
breakfast in a local restaurant in celebration of the holidays. The
Society has a presentation following a short business meeting each time
it meets. The Society meets at the: Family History Center - Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 302 East Seymour St., Cheboygan, MI 49721-2026, Ph: 231-627-7918 There is an evening meeting for members who can not make a day time meetings. It is held at the home of Darlene Holling, who can be reached by E-Mail or by calling her at 231-627-6719. The Society also has a Computer Users Group Meeting that meets monthly, usually on the Monday before or after the regular meeting, depending. MEMBERSHIP:A membership consists of a person or husband and wife who will promote the goals of the society as described in the preamble and pay their annual dues. Dues are $10 annually beginning in March. Guests will be welcome for two meetings. If they wish to continue they will be required to become members. For membership, submit a check made out to Cheboygan County Genealogical Society or CCGS and mail to Cheboygan County Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 51, Cheboygan, MI 49721-0051 in the amount of $10.00 USD currency. |

CEMETERY BOOK: The Society has compiled a Book with a listing of burials in the County of Cheboygan, including an addendum of names from tombstones not listed in the original records. The book covers all the Cemeteries in Cheboygan County. Cost of the book is $40.00 which includes shipping in the continental U.S. Shipment to other areas are charged in accordance with USPS rates. Books can be requested from Marie Gouine, 3417 E US Highway 23, Cheboygan, MI 49721-8929. Make checks payable to Cheboygan County Genealogical Society or CCGS in USD currency. |
