paternal grandparents.
Will moved to Council Grove, KS
along with some of his brothers
to pursue business opportunities.
In 1883 he went back to MI to visit,
marrying Ella Belding, a woman who
he had previously known
as she had lived on a neighboring farm.
Eventually most of the Marks family
moved to Council Grove, KS,
including his youngest daughter, Libby.⁴

He died on Aug. 7, 1921
and was buried on Aug. 8, 1921
in the IOOF cemetery at
Craigmont, Lewis Co., Idaho.
