MEGenWeb Project ~ a proud part of the USGenWeb Project
Arthur M. Griffiths memorial logo

Arthur M. Griffiths sadly passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2005. He served within the MEGenWeb Project as County Coordinator of Oxford County, and as host of many town pages within the MEGenWeb Project. Arthur's life and work embraced history and its preservation. His time and dedication to the MEGenWeb Project and the Maine genealogical community will be sorely missed. The MEGenWeb Project extends our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

In keeping with Arthur's love of history and Bates College, his alma mater, MEGenWeb honors Arthur M. Griffiths with a memorial encompassing both history and his love of Bates College - a penny postcard - View of the Campus, Bates College, Lewiston.
