Lufkin, who died early Tuesday morning were held at his home here Tuesday afternoon with Dr. C.J. Crawford, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Pallbearers were WR Holley, EF Goldsmith, WT Robinson, John M. Jones, Guy Sharpless and BF Clingo. Interment was at Oak Hill cemetary, with Hedge-Flemming mortuary in charge. Mr. Lufkin is survived by his wife, one son, Sewell, of Atmore ; one brother, CB Lufkin, of Oakland, Maine, and one sister; Mrs. Nan Lufkin Jones, of Blakesly, California. Deceased has been connected with the WT Smith Lumber company, of Chapman, for many years, and has prominent business associates throughout the state. Mr. Lufkin came to Atmore in 1910. - The Atmore Advance, Thursday, November24, 1932
