Frank E. Akers passed away at his home Sunday evening, January 27 [1918], after a long and lingering illness. Mr. Akers was the son of George and Sarah (Learned) Akers and was born in Andover 61 years ago and had always lived here. He was a member of Cabot Lodge K of P, also a member of Lone Mountain Grange of which he will be sadly missed as he was ever ready to do his part and helped in all offices and will be greatly missed in his home as he was a kind and loving father.
He is survived by a wife [Minnie] and four daughters; Mrs. Elmer Clough of Oxford, Mrs. Richard Talbot of Augusta, Mrs. Edward Pratt, Jr. and Margaret Akers of Andover.
