DOVER, N.H. - Rowena M. (Marston) Brochu, 84, formerly of 130 Salmon Falls Road, Rochester, N.H., died May 23, at the Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center in Dover, N.H., after a period of failing health.
Born in Andover, May 3, 1920, the daughter of the late Steven and Ida Cutting Marston, she had lived in Rochester most of her life.
She had worked in the stitching room at Miller Shoe for several years. She loved yard sales, cooking and people. She was well known for her coffee, homemade donuts and fudge. She was a warm and loving woman to all who knew her, especially her closest and dearest friend, Hylas (Bud) Wheeler, who will miss her very much.
Members of her family include four nieces, Lydna Marston, Margrett Herrick, Brenda Coolidge and Janet Gaughnour; one nephew, Steven Marston; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Marston; and several great-nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, David Marston; and two husbands, Clifford Gill and (Red) Brochu.
