Immigrant: born in Alford, Lincolnshire, England and was baptized on March 15, 1615/16. It is not known exactly when he came to New England, but he was certainly here in 1636 and may have come as early as 1628. He married twice, the first time to Elizabeth Canney (or Kenney.) He died on March 15, 1696/97, the 81st anniversary of his christening.
He had another wife as well.
