The funeral services of Henry Abbott were held Thursday, December 14 [1906] at 10 A.M. at the Congregational Church attended by Rev. Mr. Fisher of Mexico who spoke words of sympathy. There were many beautiful flowers.
Henry Abbott was the oldest son of Andrew Abbott and Clara Helen Thomas. He was born and always lived on the home farm with his father and younger brother. He was an industrious, hard-working young man of steady habits. He had been in poor health for the past year.
Some weeks ago he went to Lewiston for medical treatment but gradually failed until Dec. 11 [1906] when he passed away. He was 39 years of age. He leaves two brothers, three sisters and an aged father upon whom the loss falls heavily.
