Andrew Abbott [listed in the 1900 US Census as Simon A. Abbott] died Friday P.M. at 7 o’clock [Feb. 15, 1907]. Mr. Abbott had ill turns for some time and was taken ill a few days before he had paralysis after which he lived a very short time.
The funeral services for Andrew Abbott were held in the Congregational Church on Monday last at 10:30 o’clock attended by the Rev. Mr. Fisher of Mexico. Mr. Abbott was a son of Nathaniel and Polly Stockbridge Abbott. He was about 78 years old. He married Helen Thomas more than 25 years ago. They have five daughters and three sons. Two daughters and one son have passed away.
