Pneumonia caused the death of Alice [Annette] Crocker, the last Civil War pensioner in Andover Thursday afternoon at her home on Newton Street.
Mrs. Crocker was born and spent all of her life in Andover. She was the daughter of Samuel and Rhoda Bodwell Learned. She was a member of the Universalist Church and Lone Mountain Grange, Andover.
[She married William E. Crooker in Rumford on March 29, 1873. They had a daughter, Elizabeth.]
Surviving are two granddaughters, Mrs. Herbert Small and Mrs. Charles Leadbetter of Livermore Falls, two brothers, William and Frank Learned, of Andover.
