Each man was bound over to the court with a bond of twenty pounds. Jael was fined ten pounds for fornication."

1684: Jaell's father, in his will, said "Concerning my Daghter Jaell Smith the wife of John Smith that the prte of the Mony and Chattles above Named that shalbe Due to my said Daughter Jaell after the Decease of my said wife Elizabeth Packer shall not be Delivered to the said John Smith; but shalbe Desposed of to my said Daughter"
