John Cram was living in the southwest part of Nottingham, now Deerfield, N.H. in 1765. His farm was located in Kensington on Drinkwater Road just beyond his brother Wadleigh Cram's residence. The first town meeting of Deerfield, NH was held "at the house of Wadleigh Cram" on March 18, 1766. He signed the Assocation Test at Deerfield in 1776 and was one of the original proprietors of Chichester, NH in 1728, drawing lots 5 and 8 in Range 1. Probably his son John Cram III was the Capt. John Cram (1775-1783) at Chichester, NH decribed in NH Provincial Papers (Vol. 9, p. 342).
