Admitted as freeman May 20, 1658, and worked as a tanner. Removed to West Hartford about 1683 and active in town affairs and a deacon of Second Church. Married Sep. 23, 1663, Hartford, Hartford Co., CT to Sarah WATSON ( b. 1641, Hartford, Hartford Co., CT), daughter of John WATSON and Margaret SMITH.
