Misc. Notes
At the time of the 1850 USC for New Gloucester, Cumberland Co., ME, he was living in household of Charles Merrill, with wife Sarah Merrill, and children Amanda and Eunice Merrill. Occupation listed as cooper.
Resided in Woodstock, ME in 1900 (USC). 1900 Census lists birthdate as July 1826.

Death record on FamilySearch.org lists parents as John and Jerushe Mountfort: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-G...%2F1%3A1%3AQ24N-KBJ4. But he is not on list of John and Jerushe’s children on this biography: http://www.raynorshyn.com/megenweb/cumberland/biographies/mountf.txt. Albert would seem to be born too late to be a child of these parents.

It’s more likely he’s the son of Edmund and Mary Mountfort of Poland; he’s buried in the same cemetery, and listed on the 1850 USC with them.
